How to Use the Dummy Password Generator

Configure Your Password

Start by adjusting the password length slider between 6 and 32 characters. For most testing purposes, 12-16 characters is ideal. Then select which character types you want to include: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and/or symbols.

Use Advanced Features

For specialized needs, use the advanced options: exclude ambiguous characters to avoid confusion, select a generation pattern, or add custom prefixes/suffixes to match your testing conventions.

Generate & Copy

Click the "Generate Password" button to create your dummy password. You can generate multiple passwords at once using the quantity selector. Once generated, click "Copy to Clipboard" to use it in your application.

Save & Manage

Use the "Save to History" button to keep track of passwords you've generated. The history section stores your passwords locally in your browser, so they remain available during your session.

Security Best Practices

This tool generates dummy passwords for testing only. Never use these passwords for real accounts. For production systems, use a proper password manager with strong, unique passwords for each account.
